The Freshwater Fisheries Society of BC will be stocking the lake with rainbow trout in the morning, kids are welcome to assist the hatchery staff during the stocking. There will be a netted area for new fishermen who have no experiences in catching trout. Experts will be on site to teach participants new techniques on catching rainbow trout. Other activities include fly tying, casting lessons and salmon raffle. Some fantastic prizes will be given away at the end of the event.

Lafarge Lake is located on Pinetree Blvd., across from Douglas College in Coquitlam.
