Terra Early Learning is more than a community-minded early years centre for children ages 1 to 5 years old — it’s a place where children can learn to become advocates for our planet, a space where children can learn how to adapt and thrive in an ever-changing world. Our mission is to co-create an environment in which students experience what it means to conserve Earth’s natural resources, so we can leave our planet sustainable for all living things now, and in the future.
Education for Sustainability is woven into all aspects of our engaging, authentic, and experiential curriculum of inquiry, outdoor learning, play-based learning, and Montessori. Our program is integrated to tailor to the individual needs of students with an intentional focus on children’s social-emotional development, health, and well-being.
At Terra Early Learning, we are passionate about creating a world in which children are encouraged to be innovative. A place where their questions are answered, their voices are heard, and they lead the change. Because children are the future, and it’s time we encourage them to act as active citizens in their communities and support them as they create a world in which they can thrive.
We are educating the next generation of sustainability advocates and leaders, creating a brighter future where everyone can thrive.
We are lighting the path, with children leading the way.
