Get ready to make anything you can imagine⁠—especially mistakes⁠—in the ArtStarts Maker Space!

On Saturday, October 5, families can come explore the new exhibition at the ArtStarts Gallery, Maker Space. This open studio is designed just for young people and their families inviting you to try your hand at drawing, printmaking, photography, and more!

The Maker movement is built on the idea that everyone is creative and that we need space and time to explore, create and collaborate so that we can turn ideas into reality.

From 11am – 12pm you’re invited to a morning of creativity inspired by anything and everything you can make out of cardboard! Bring your family for hands-on making through the arts in kid-friendly and low-tech ways that will ignite creative learning.

ArtStarts is wheelchair-accessible with an elevator available for access to the Mezzanine level. Gender-neutral washrooms are located on the Mezzanine level.

➤Lift: 3 feet width, 46″ depth, single person use
➤Accessible washrooms are located on second floor. The washroom door is 34.5″ wide

➤All wheelchair accessible washroom stalls have a handrail
➤Sanitary disposal available in all stalls
➤6 feet clearance in front of sinks
➤Non-scented soap, sharps disposal, and changing tables in washrooms
