Celebrate Family Day at Burnaby Village Museum

Come and join in the fun! Celebrate South Asian culture through music, dance and art.

Visitors of all ages can participate in an engaging, interactive dance workshop led by award-winning Bollywood dancer Karima Essa. Learn some Bollywood history, enjoy the music and add your own moves to the experience. Sets starting at 11:45 am and 1:45 pm.

Join in the collaborative process of creating a community mural, featuring the artwork of South Asian artist Jag Nagra. Engage in this tactile experience using hand crafted, fairtrade, wooden printing blocks made in Jaipur, India. (11 am-3:45 pm)

Visitors wishing to ride the carousel can purchase a ticket ($2.52 plus tax). Last carousel ride at 3:45 pm.

Due to construction, only the Carousel Pavillion building and surrounding plaza will be open for this event.
