What Are You Worth?

What is the job of a mom worth? As a mom, you are the rock, you are the glue that holds your family together. We all know that the work you do for your family is invaluable, but what is it really worth? The job of a mom is never-ending.
Being a mom involves being a caregiver 24hrs a day, seven days a week, and there is no vacation or down-time.
How many hats do you wear?
If you are a stay at home mom, you are essentially the executive director of household and family affairs and some of the job descriptions you hold are: nanny, housekeeper, cook, chauffeur, buyer, event planner, organizational director, director of play, and cheerleader.
The list goes on and on, and these are essentially the duties of any mom. If you add a part-time, or full time job on top of all of that, you become increasingly financially valuable.
Why it matters
The reason for determining your worth is because you need to protect your family in case something ever happened to you. As a mom, one of your main concerns is caring for your family and part of caring for your family is making sure you have enough insurance (life and critical illness) to protect your family’s quality of living if you were diagnosed with a serious illness or if something were to happen to you.
How to protect your family
Most people understand the importance of a good life insurance policy on the main bread-earner for the family, but equally important is a good life insurance policy on the main caregiver for the family.
As determined above, it would cost a lot of money to replace you. If you were diagnosed with cancer and had to undergo chemotherapy, it would cost a lot of money to bring in all of the above people to fill in while you are fighting an illness and recovering. More importantly, if you were not there at all, what would your family do?
As a mom you work very hard to attain your family’s goals and dreams, insurance allows you to make sure that no matter what life throws your way, those dreams will be protected financially.
The job of a mom is worth thousands and thousands of dollars a year–it’s important that you and your family are well protected and properly insured.
