What to do in Vancouver: Baby and Family Fair 2012

Do you suspect your child is the fastest crawler around? Then don’t miss out on the chance to enter them in the Baby Races at this year’s Baby and Family Fair 2012 at the PNE Exhibition Park. I can already envision the scene: moms are strolling the exhibition booths earnestly educating themselves on the Insception Cord Blood Program, planning the perfect first birthday party with Par-T-Perfect, signing up for Molly Maid and handling cloth diapers. Meanwhile, the dads are at the races beating the ground with their fists, urging their babies forward. It’s what to do in Vancouver to get your little one’s racing career off to a great start.

What to do in Vancouver from Prenatal to Preschool

Even if you don’t have a Mario Andretti in the making, there’s lots to see at the 2012 Baby and Family Fair. The event focuses on exhibits and entertainment geared to parents with kids from prenatal to age five. Over 100 purveyors of family-friendly products and services will be setting up their booths. Are you looking for a solution to your baby’s cradle cap, or do you desperately need a good night’s sleep? The fair is a terrific opportunity to seek child-related advice, specific to the needs of your family. With exhibitors like Discovery Toys and Poppy’s Choice, the fair is also the ideal place to do some early holiday shopping. As another incentive to attend, families can enter a draw to win over $25,000 in family prizes and gifts!

Don’t fret, the baby races are not the only entertainment for children. The Fair is presenting live shows featuring a character from a certain famous street. Kids will enjoy visiting the Creative Corner for arts and crafts activity and those with excessive energy can let their beans loose in the bouncy castle (just don’t forget their helmets). Whether you’re a mom-to-be, a seasoned parent of preschoolers or an eager grandparent, this is what to do in Vancouver.
