There’s a new rink in town! Located at the summer water park splash zone, this 12,000 sq foot venue is covered by a retractable roof during inclement weather and opened up when the sun shines. Skating is free and rentals are $7 adult/$5 child (limited quantities).
Pro tip: The rental lineups can be lengthy so it’s advisable to bring (or borrow) your own skates.
Robson Square *Free*

It’s one of Vancouver’s best winter traditions and the perfect way to celebrate the season with your loved ones! Robson Square outdoor skating rink is typically open from the beginning of December until the end of February (winter temperatures permitting). Skate/helmet rentals are cash only, but admission is free!
Grouse Mountain Skating
Until March 2021, North Vancouver

Nothing beats skating outdoors on an 8,000 square foot mountaintop skating pond, surrounded by snow-capped trees on the top of Grouse Mountain. This is storybook stuff! Open now until early Spring (be sure to check daily weather conditions).

Starlight Skating Rink, Harrison Hot Springs

This new 60 person “village sized” outdoor synthetic rink located by Harrison lake has a magical feel. Bring your skates or rent some from the concession. Open daily, access to the rink is free but there is a small charge for skate rentals.
