A Winter Salve: Satya Organic Skincare

Satya Orgainc Skincare

Looking for a winter skincare solution that you can feel good about using? Our publisher Christine checks out Satya Organic Skincare.

With the temperature dropping, my kids are soldiering through their first rounds of serious colds – along with their dry cheeks, sore noses and chafed upper lips. Year after year, I’ve tried different salves and can say truly that Satya Organic Skincare has been this year’s salvation. I’ll apply it to my children’s faces throughout the day and a healthy application at bedtime. After a day of nose wiping and a runny nose, my three-year-old woke up this morning virtually rash free.

Skincare Created by a Local Mom

Created by local mom Patrice Mousseau, this wonder cream has only four ingredients: calendula petals, cold pressed sweet almond oil, bees wax and cold pressed jojoba oil – all certified organic. A journalist and former news anchor, Patrice was mixing the cream to help with her husband’s eczema and then realized that it would be a safe and natural answer to her newborn daughter’s diaper rash and baby eczema.

“Soon, I was using my little balm for everything!” says Patrice, who claims that Satya organic skincare helps relieve cuts and scrapes, sun, wind and cooking burns, insect bites in addition to chapped lips and bruises.
