The perfect Saturday morning family outing! Get your shopping done, then grab a snack and a coffee and enjoy the park. The kids love it!

Spotlight Dance Centre in Burnaby
Lucy and Sam love their Saturday morning ballet class. The teachers are amazing and it’s a great studio. I love watching my kids dance!

Cedar Cottage Pub
This is my go-to girls night out location. It’s a classic pub with darts, pool, great drink specials and killer nachos. Plus it’s close to my house so it’s easy to stumble home.

Commercial Street Café
Their cinnamon buns are the best! It’s a fun local coffee shop with lots of room to relax with your coffee (and kids!).

Trout Lake Playground
My kids can play for hours at this playground; there’s something for all ages. Plus there’s a coffee shop in the community centre, so I can caffeinate myself while they play. ☺
Sushi Yama
This is our fave family restaurant. The kids love trying new rolls and working on their chopstick skills.

La Casa Gelato
They have 238 gelato flavours and you’re allowed to try them all! It’s such a fun experience to hang out and take your time picking out the perfect flavour. The kids ask to go there all the time.
