Earlier this month we asked you to nominate your favourite Vancouver mom blog for our third annual 30 Fabulous Vancouver Mom Bloggers contest. You came through with over 90 nominations. We reviewed them, we visited the blogs, and we’ve made our decisions. This week we’ll be presenting the 2012 Top 30 Fabulous Mom Bloggers to you, in no particular order. Today we’re happy to share numbers 13 through 18.

She is a mom of three who has sweat her way through the fitness industry and eventually found her calling in supporting moms in all stages of their careers. Julie loves to inspire, create and help others find their true passion. She isn’t always on her best behaviour… but that is sometimes part of her appeal. As the Owner of momcafe Tri-Cities and co-founder of mom inc MOVEMENT, she is continually looking for new and exciting ways to engage and inspire moms in finding their best balance of business and babies.

Emily Wight of Well Fed, Flat Broke

Top 30 Vancouver Mom Bloggers Emily WightEmily is a communications professional, writer, grammarian, and Internet enthusiast. Her food blog, well fed, flat broke, won Canadian blogging awards in 2010 and 2011. She braises tough cuts of meat for long hours in a low oven to avoid having to put on makeup, find clean pants, and go out. She has also recently procreated. Everything in her life is covered in cat hair. She will do anything for free pie. Top 30 Vancouver Mom Bloggers Kristina CrossKristina Cross is a workaholic mother of an almost three-year-old son and a bonus mom to her 12-year-old step-daughter. Having a husband, tween, toddler and soon-to-be newborn in the house calls for hectic but fulfilling life. She is domestically challenged and a confessed shopaholic. Top 30 Vancouver Mom Bloggers Samantha ReynoldsIn 2011, Samantha Reynolds pledged to write one poem a day to try to be present and not miss the fleeting first year of her son’s life. Now she wouldn’t know how to stop even if she wanted to.  Her popular poetry blog, www.bentlily.com, has sparked a movement of people around the world to slow down and savour their lives. When not racking up reams of poetry, she runs Echo Memoirs, a publishing company specializing in personal memoirs and company histories. She counts her blessings as a mom and wife to two of the loveliest men in the world. She lives in Vancouver, BC.

Top 30 Vancouver Mom Bloggers Justine BoulinJustine Boulin is a photographer, runner, partner to her best friend Ryan, and a mom to baby Brayden. Living in Vancouver for the past 12 years, Justine found her passion following a couple of false starts – she is an athlete after all – by chronicling her life through writing and photos. Oh, and she also became pregnant! Brayden was an unexpected yet exciting surprise for his first-time parents who were ecstatic to embark on this next stage of their lives together. The B Life is a portrait of the day-to-day life with baby and everything in-between; the ups and the downs of figuring it all out while living in the city. Honest, funny and hopeful, Justine’s blog captures her adventures with baby, what they are up to, stuff they are loving, an occasional recipe and lots of lots of beautiful photos!

Amanda is a Scottish expat trailing spouse, a mixed media artist, a mature mum, an ex-scientist and current part-time student who has been blogging since 2006. Originally the blog dealt with her adventures in running a jewelry design business around stay-at-home parenting, but has deteriorated evolved since the first year into a full-blown rant about an exploration of achieving work-life balance, a.k.a. getting back into some kind of career in, around and in spite of her family.
