There are lots of Lunar New Year celebrations around town these days. Ushering in the Chinese New Year is a Very Big Deal in Metro Vancouver with our sizeable Chinese-Canadian population. But if you’re looking for a smaller, cosier, kid-friendly event for the family, you can’t beat Wesbrook Village.
A few fun facts about this year’s Lunar New Year: It’s the Chinese Year of the Dog so if you have a little one on the way, they will be a year of the dog just like Justin Bieber, Mother Teresa and Winston Churchill (a renowned dog lover). According to lore, they will be communicative, dedicated, serious, and responsible in work resulting in a high chance of success! Woof! Woof!
