Camp Fun Girl is a one-week day-camp for girls aged 9 to 13 that takes place every summer at YWCA Vancouver for 2 weeks. Now in its 10th year, the camp runs this summer from July 19 to 23 and July 26 to 30.
The camp supports the YWCA’s strategy to provide healthy choices for youth. The aim of the camp is to empower girls through a variety of fun outdoor activities, workshops and peer learning. It helps girls develop the strength, knowledge and skills to address the issues they face as they become teenagers.
Camp Fun Girl features fun indoor and outdoor activities. From exploring a treetop walkway to hip hop dancing, girls will enjoy fun challenges to help promote a sense of achievement and greater self-confidence. For more details, contact Holly Parsons at hparsons@ywcavan.org or 604-895-5844.
