Established by National Ballet of China’s Choo Chiat and Lin Yee Goh, the academy was created to pursue technical and artistic excellence – both customary traits of ballet dance. What makes Goh Ballet unique is their dedication to raising cultural awareness in the dance community and around Vancouver. This June, Goh Ballet’s Junior School will perform the family friendly production, Once Upon a Fairy Tale: Dances that Live in Your Imagination, which includes little Miss Muffet, Jack and Jill and other nursery rhyme favourites.
