Sarah Bessey, The Emerging Mummy
At Emerging Mummy, Sarah Bessey writes about the mix that makes up her life: parenting, faith, simple living, creativity, politics, news, environmentalism, missional living, literature, breastfeeding, marriage and so on. Sarah is a marketer by trade and is mainly a stay-at-home-mom, which she says “falls into the category of Things I Thought I Would Never Do.” Sarah also warns that she is a fledgling-becoming-obsessed knitter and can’t be held responsible for the occasional “Look what I made!” post. Her anecdotes of her happy family have been described as endlessly entertaining and its true – we love her captivating post In which I gave birth to my son in a parkade!!! Kerry Sauriol, Crunchy Carpets
As Kerry Sauriol sees it, clean socks are a privilege, not a right. Crunchy Carpets was born when Kerry ventured into “parenting” web sites to find solace in the words of other confused mothers. Kerry soon discovered blogging and has never looked back. At Crunchy Carpets, Kerry serves up a mix of topics including being a mom to her three kids (often referred to as Crunchy Girl #1, Crunchy Girl #2 and Crunchy Boy!), product reviews, events and more. Kerry also enthusiastically advocates and promotes her favourite blogs on Crunchy Carpets as well as her British Columbia site Wet Coast Women. Read more at www.crunchycarpets.com.
Stephanie Lee, The Tsunami Mommy
Stephanie Lee is The Tsunami Mommy. On her blog, Stephanie boldly shares her true feelings on being a mom, having a baby, navigating through parenthood, realizing she’s not 20 anymore, finding harmony and bliss at home and as she puts it – totally giving up control and learning to be okay with that. With a down-to-earth and inviting feel, The Tsunami Mom also reviews the odd product, shares her opinions on child safety and updates us on her son’s latest milestones. :LOVE LOVE emergingmummy.com
What a great way to roll it out. It gives us all time to get to know each other. I wasn’t a reader of Crunchy Carpets or Tsunami Mommy before but am really enjoying their writing. Thanks for hosting this feature!
Sarah – glad you’re loving it. Also, stay tuned for something special for all the nominees!
The Tsunami Mommy is my favorite. Stephanie is honest and uses adult language, seriously, I find she always makes me smile and feel not so alone in my momdom:)
I’ve always loved emergingmummy after all, Sarah’s my first born…but let me say…Sarah you have a way of saying more in one sentence than most can in a paragraph. Great to see you nominated here;)
