16. Christianne’s LYCEUM of Literature and Art
Artistically-minded children will have an adventure exploring art and literature at Christianne’s Lyceum. Inspired by the educational pedagogy of Reggio programs that emphasize process over product, these camps put the child’s learning experience at the forefront of the program and are open to incorporating the child’s input and interests. 17. YWCA Camp Fun Girl
A summer camp that’s just for girls, YWCA’s Camp Fun Girl empowers girls through a variety of fun indoor and outdoor activities and workshops. Whether it’s exploring Lynn Canyon Park or doing morning yoga by the waterfront, this camp aims to help girls develop the strength, knowledge and skills they need to address issues they will face as teens.

18. Camp Monarch
For the child who is passionate about music and dance, Camp Monarch is a two-week day camp for serious musicians of all skill levels. Kids will spend each day making music, dance and art the focus of the day, with an informal musical theatre performance for friends and family at the end of the camp.

19. Camp Summit
Camp Summit offers a traditional overnight wilderness camp experience in 3, 5, 7 and 14-day-long sessions. A great fit for active and adventurous kids, Camp Summit includes activities such as mountain biking, canoeing, kayaking, rock climbing, hiking, snowboarding, swimming, crafts and lots more.

20. CirKids
Kids who just won’t stop clowning around or bouncing off the walls will be in their element at circus camp. Cirkids offers week-long summer camps in unicycling, juggling, tightwire-walking, trapeze, gymwheel, mini-trampoline, acrobalance and more. On the last day of camp, kids create their own show.
